IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SALLY TUCKER

Dear SEMSBA members,

At the last SEMSBA Executive Board meeting, it was brought to our attention that the Plymouth Philharmonic Choral Consortium has scheduled its next concert on March 27, 2010, which conflicts directly with the Senior SEMSBA Festival plans for next year.  Because FIVE of our member towns will be involved with this concert, the E-Board has voted to change the Senior SEMSBA Festival to March 12 and 13, 2010.

This decision will enable Consortium students to participate in both musical events, and the SEMSBA Festival will reflect a good representation of choral students participating from all of our member schools.  Please mark this change in your calendars.

Have a wonderful summer and see you in September!

Sally Tucker

And....on a personal note: This is my last year managing the website which will, in effect, end a thirty-nine year association with SEMSBA. Having served as an adjudicator, conductor (junior and senior choruses as well as the last combined junior/senior orchestra), manager, secretary and webmaster, it has been a pleasure working with the many great music teachers in our organization. It is wonderful to see SEMSBA continue to provide the students with such positive festival experiences not to mention the long lasting freindships that are formed among the member teachers. I wish you all the best and continued success.

My thanks to Justin Pittsley of Middleborough who will be taking offer the website this summer.

A link will be provided here that will direct you to the new site.
